Srinagar, Sept 24: The Big Downtown Football Festival 2020 kicked off at Islamia College Ground Hawal here on Wednesday.
The inaugural match of the event was played between Kashmir Avengers FC and Royal Sports. Royal Sports took lead in first half and were leading by 1-0 at the end if first half. Zubair Akhoon was scorer.
In the second half, Kashmir Avengers bounced back and scored back to back two goals. Aquib was the scorer. Avengers won by 2-1.
President District Football Association Srinagar Fayaz Ahmad Sofi was chief guest on the occasion while as former footballer Zahoor Ahmad Telli were amoung other guests present.
