Bandipora, June 30: The Sports Association Hajin, has made it clear that not everyone involved in ‘Sports’ or any ‘Association’ is against the ‘Establishment’ of a Degree College in Hajin but development at the cost of snatching playing field from youth is unacceptable.
“This development is our basic right and we have all worked hard for it. We are happy that a degree college will be established in Hajin. But unfortunately, our civil society has chosen Hajin Sports Ground for the establishment of the college. As a result, the present and future generation will be deprived of their basic rights to sports, ” Association has said.
“We appeals that the future of our youth be saved from destruction. We all know how young people get addicted to drugs by staying away from sports. God forbid that this should not happen to our youth as well. The thousands youth future involved in sports from being ruined, ” It said.
The Association has requested the higher authorities to save this ground as the land is available in the school adjacent to the ground for the college.
