With everyone keeping it’s eye on the hit Turkish serial Dirilis Ertugrul, Pakistan seamer Mohammad Amir is no exception and he has got confused with resemblance of one the actors in the serial with Team India skipper Virat Kohli.
Amir who seem to be keenly watching the hit serial took to his official Twitter and asked Virat Kohli about the confusion.
“@imVkohli brother is it you m confused 😂 , ” Amir Tweeted.
The similarity between the Ertugrul actor and Kohli is eye catching and one who wouldn’t have watched the TV serial will take it as picture of Virat Kohli.
Actually it is picture of Dogan Alp one of the characters in Dirilis: Ertugrul. The character is enacted by Turkish actor Cavit Cetin Guner.
The character is One of the three Alps of Ertugrul, together with Turgut Alp and Bamsi Beyrek who are blood brothers with him. Is later killed by Vasilius and Ural. Has a son named Dogan.
Dirilis: Ertugrul (English: “Resurrection: Ertugrul”) is a Turkish historical fiction and adventure television series created by Mehmet Bozdag, starring Engin Altan Düzyatan in the namesake leading role. It was filmed in Riva, a village in the Beykoz district of Istanbul, Turkey, and premiered on TRT 1 in Turkey on December 10, 2014. The show is based on the history of the Muslim Oghuz Turks and takes place in the 13th century. It centers around the life of Ertugrul, the father of Osman I, who was the founder of the Ottoman Empire. It has been well received, particularly in the Muslim world.
