Taking a big jump Pakistan Cricket Board has announced that it is going host all Pakistan Super League matches in Pakistan next season.
This was announced by PCB chairman Ehsan Mani on Thursday.
Previously PCB was hosting majority of matches in UAE.
Speaking to the reporters at Gaddafi Stadium, Mani said the matches will be split up across four venues which include Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Multan.
“We have identified four venues. We are working on making that a reality and have begun improving the stadiums. Unfortunately, over the past ten years these stadiums were not maintained because Pakistan did not have international cricket,” said Mani.
While there has been a lot of maintenance and upgradation work been done in Karachi and Lahore, he said work was being done to improve Rawalpindi and Multan stadiums.
