Humbled, will give 100%, says Mohammad Amir on World Cup selection

Reacting to the news of him making it to Pakistan ICC world Cup-2019 squad, the pacer has said that he is humbled and will give his 100% for the team.

Taking to his official twitter handle Mohammad Amir wrote, “Allhamdulilah, humbled and proud to be part of the pakistan WC squad InshAllah going to give 100% and we all will try and make our nation proud, thank u all for ur support and endless duas we all need them more now. #pakistanZindabad”.

Pakistan on Monday announced team for ICC world Cup 2019 with Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz, and Asif Ali back in the final 15-man squad.

They replaced Junaid Khan, Faheem Ashraf and Abid Ali who couldn’t perform well in the recently concluded England series, after being included in the preliminary squad.

The squad was announced by chief selector, Inzamam-Ul-Haq at Gadaffi Stadium. Pakistan yesterday finished the England series on a disappointing note, facing 4-0 clean sweep.

Here is the final squad:

Sarfaraz Ahmed, Asif Ali, Babar, Zaman, Haris Sohail, Hassan Ali, Imad Wasim, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Husnain, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Afridi, Shoaib Malik & Wahab Riaz
