Anantnag, May 18: Kamran Yousuf’s unbeaten hundred on Saturday handed Veeri Sports Club a 52-run win over City Guys Anantnag in the ongoing Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association-organised Talent Hunt Tournament at Anantnag.
After finding luck with the coin, Veeri Sports Club started superbly at the flat looking track. Kamran Yousuf mastered their innings, scoring a comprehensive unbeaten 100. Apart from him, Tasaduq and Aamir score half-century each to take Veeri club to mammoth 308 runs in the allotted 40 overs.
In reply, City Guys also began the innings well, however, lastly fell short of 52 runs, hence rewarding Veeri Sports Club a win in the first match of the tournament.
