JKCA Tourney Jammu: Faizan Mir’s ton steers ECC to 2-wicket win

Jammu, May 18: A calm and composed century by Faizan Mir on Saturday handed a two-wicket win to Emerging Cricket Club against Jammu XI in the ongoing Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association-organised Talent Hunt tournament at GGM Science College, Jammu.

Barring first, the Jammu XI side managed to score an average score of 176 runs in 40-over a side encounter.

In reply, ECC went off to a disappointing start as they lost three wickets with just 21 runs on board. However, Faizan Mir came to the rescue as the swashbuckler showed resistance at the crease.

He waited for the bad balls to hit while owned defensive mode when bowlers pitched it in the right areas. He smashed 13 fours in his 103 runs knock, making sure his team reaches close to the target

Lastly, tail helped Emerging Cricket Club earn a narrow two-wicket win.
