
Not taking any chance with its pace spearhead Kagiso Rabada, Cricket South Africa has recalled pacer back from Indian Premier League.
There have been injury reports regarding Delhi Capitals pacer and CSA keeping its upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup interests in mind have recalled him back and now Rabada will play no further part in the IPL 2019.
Rabada had missed Delhi Capitals’ last match against the Chennai Super Kings due to a stiff back and his unavailability is a severe blow to Delhi, which is striving to win its maiden IPL title.
The 23-year-old Rabada is leading wicketaker in IPL this season having taken 25 wickets from 12 matches.
“With the World Cup just a month away, a collective decision has been made for me in this regard. It’s been a tremendous season for me with the Delhi Capitals, both on and off the field, and I truly believe that our team can win the trophy,” Rabada was quoted
