Srinagar May 2: An all-round performance by Sheikh Faheem on Thursday took Lucknow Spartans home against U.P Panters at Uttrakhand in the ongoing all-India T20 Cup.
Batting first, Spartans scored a big total of 208 runs in the allotted overs, largely due to fifties by Umar and Faheem. The former made calm 59 runs off 41 balls while latter scored fiery 27-ball 57 runs. For Panthers, Mishra scalped a brace.
Defending the huge target, Spartans started brilliantly with the ball. They removed U.P top-order and ran through the middle as well. Faheem was again star with the ball as he clinched a four-wicket-haul to hand his team a big win of 100 runs.
Faheem for his all-round brilliance ran away with man of the match award.
