JAMMU: In the first T20 trial match, Team ‘C’ defeated Team ‘A’ by 12 runs, here at GGM Science College ground, Jammu on Sunday.
Batting first, Pranav Gupta-led Team C posted 129-run total, largely due to cameos by Shubham Pundir, Bandeep Singh and Manzoor Pandav. Pundir top scored with some 40 odd runs while as Bandeep and Pandav finished in
While for bowling side, Umar Nazir scalped two while as Zahoor Sofi, Waseem Raza and Aakash Chaudhary chipped in with one wicket each.
Meanwhile, Team A in reply fell 12 runs short of the total as they were bundled on 117 runs. Captain Waseem Raza finished as the highest run-getter as left-handed batsman made some 35 runs. For Team C, Mujtaba Yousuf picked 3 while as Nasir Lone and Abdul Samad took two wickets each.
