Abu Dhabi, Oct 5: Pakistan’s emerging middle order batsman Babar Azam has created history and tumbled records with his third hundred in succession in three-match ODI series against West Indies.
Babar broke and created so many records on his way to a blistering hundred in the third ODI.
With this ton, he became only third Pakistani to score three back to back centuries in ODIs after Zaheer Abbas and Saeed Anwar.
Meanwhile, he became first Pakistani to achieve this feat in a three-match ODI series. He also holds the record of most runs in a three-match bilateral series.
Azam played three classical innings of 121, 123 and 117 in this series.
Azam has scored the most runs ever by any batsman after 18 ODI innings. Previous record holder was Viv Richards with 883 runs.
