Tourists after opting to bat first were bundled out on meager 120 runs, largely due to some superb bowling by pace duo of Jahid Nazir and Auqib Nabi. The former scalped four and latter picked three wickets, making sure they rattle Chattisgarh early.

In reply, hosts lost a couple of quick wickets but the senior pro, Shubham Pundir came to the rescue, scoring fiery 81-ball 61 runs. J&K lastly finished the day on 113-4, trailing by mere 7 runs.
