In a bizarre incident J&K Rugby Association has issued termination order of female rugby ‘coach’ Irtiqa Ayoub on social media site of Facebook.
The Association on its official Facebook page- J&K Rugby- (https://www.facebook.com/JK-Rugby-110912388920942/) has posted termination letter of Miss Irtiqa alongwith her photograph.
While KSW is not aware what lead to the Association to take such extreme step but one can’t justify the way it has handled this affair and maligned name of a female coach in public. The wording used in the letter is extreme in any case and can’t be termed as official communiqué.

In the letter it is mentioned that Association would be taking Irtiqa to Court for defaming Rugby Association and using its name. KSW tried to contact Irtiqa but she wasn’t available for comment. One doesn’t know how Sports Council will react to this development or this type of termination and defamation will a new trend in J&K sports arena.
