Hosts Assam defeated J&K by 5 wickets in the match of the Cooch Behar Trophy Under-19 Tournament at Guwahati on December 12.
Chasing a target of 113 runs set by J&K, Assam got to total for the loss of 5 wickets. Aman Chetry scored fighting 64 not out while Dewnish Das scored 25. Rasikh and Vivrant Sharma took two wickets each for J&K. Javid Ahmad took one.
Earlier in its second inning J&K got all out for 171. Qamran Iqbal top scored with 80, Abdul Samad 42.
In its first inning J&K had got all out for 196 runs. Vivrant Sharma with 64 was top scorer while as Qamran Iqbal scored 42 and Musaif 32. In reply Assam had scored 255 runs.
