Lahore, Sep 30: Former Pakistan T20I captain Shahid Afridi urged on Friday for a peaceful resolution of the recent hostilities between Pakistan and India.

The all-rounder’s message comes at a time of increased tensions between the neighbouring countries along the Line of Control (LoC).

The former skipper took to Twitter to communicate to fans and followers on both sides of the border to remain calm and work through dialogue.

Tensions have risen between the nuclear-armed neighbors over Kashmir region and an attack on the Indian army’s brigade headquarters in Uri on September 18, which claimed the lives of 19 Indian soldiers.

Two Pakistani soldiers were also killed yesterday due to an unprovoked firing across the LoC, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). Agencies
