Hosts GOA declared their first inning 468/9 with overnight centurion, Snehal Kauthankar remaining not out on 130. In reply J&K were struggling on 74/1 in their first at the lunch on the third days play in Ranji Trophy match at Goa. 
Goa started their inning from 422/7 and went on to loss two more wickets before they declared their inning. They added 46 runs to the overnight total for the loss of two wickets. Umar Nazir and Irfan Pathan one each for J&K. Snehal Kauthankar remained unbeaten for Goa on 130.
In reply J&K got off to reasonably good start but lost opener Ahmad Banday on the score of 43. He scored 25 off 39. After that Shubham Khajuria and Ian Dev stabilised the inning and J&K went to lunch without any further loss of wickets. Khajuria is batting on 28 and Ian Dev 20.
