The District Srinagar Table Tennis championship concluded at Islamia College of Science and Commerce, Hawal here on Monday.
In the event, around 90 players from Srinagar participated in different categories in various age groups.
In senior men’s category, Minham emerged as winner and Qazi Inaam runner-up while as in Under-19 boys category, Momin Ashraf of GMC emerged as winner and Ibrahim Qadri of DPS Runnerup.
In the Under-17 category boys, Muteeb of GMC emerged as winner and Ibrahim Qadri of DPS was runner up.
In the U14, category Ibrahim Qadri emerged as winner and Usman Farooq was runner-up while as in girls U14 category, Inam Qadri of DPS emerged as winner and Ume Hani was runner-up.
In senior girls category, Inam Qadri of DPS emerged as winner and Fatima Chesti of Women’s College MA Road was runner-up. In veteran men’s category, Ubeed defeated Prof Majid of Islamia College in final.
Principal Islamia College Prof Yaseen Ahmad Shah was the chief guest on the occasion while as Dr. Altafur Rehman and Showkat Ah Khanyari were amoung other guests present on the occasion.
