Sultan ul Aarifeen Cricket Club emerged as winner in the Champions trophy cricket tournament defeating Life Fitness Gym in the final played TRC Ground here Srinagar on October 21.
Batting first Sultan ul Aarifeen scored 222 /7 in allotted 30 overs. Asrar with 68 was highest scorer for them while as Gowher took 3 wickets for Life Fitness.
In reply Life Fitness fell short off a target by three runs. For them Gowher scored 40 and Ishfaq 35 while as Asrar 2-wkts.
Asrar for 68 runs and 2wkts was awarded man of the match while as Ishfaq of Life Fitness Gym for his 150 runs and 9-wkts bagged man of the series award. Winners bagged cash prize of Rs: 25000 while as runner up got Rs: 15000.
