District Srinagar lifted the Women’s Inter-District cricket tournament title defeating District Anantnag in the final played at Gadoora Stadium Ganderbal on October 12.
In the final of the event organised by Women Cricket Association, Srinagar defeated Anatnag by 33 runs. Batting first, Srinagar scored 116/3 in allotted overs. In reply Anantnag managed only 83/7 in allotted 15-overs. For Srinagar Nusrat scored 63 runs while as she had scored 70 in semifinal and 32 in quarterfinal.
Bushra skipper of District Srinagar team took four wickets today while as she had also contributed with the knocks of 40, 33, 18 runs throughout the event.
Nusrat was awarded Women of the series while as Best bowler award was given to Bushra Ashraf of Srinagar. Women of the match was also Nusrat while as Farkhanda Khan of Srinagar awarded best fielder.
