Mallinson Girls Higher Secondary School lifted the 2nd Greenend Kashmir Open Hockey Tournament 2018 title.
Mallinson defeated Women’s College MA Road team in the final played at Women’s College MA Road Ground, Srinagar.
The tournament was organised by Kashmir Hockey Academy in collaboration with state sports council. 6 teams across the valley participated in the tournament which commenced on 18/09/2018.
Nuzat Ara (Divisional Sports Officer) was chief guest and some other dignitaries also graced the occasion. Organisers of the tournament told that the main motive behind organising this tournament was to promote girls in the field of hockey. This is the second edition of the tournament of hockey which was organised by KHA to boost the young talented players who are keen in playing hockey.
