A fine spell of bowling by captain, Shabir Khan on Wednesday helped Rising Star Bandipora defeat Muslim Sports Ajas, here at SK Stadium Bandipora in the pre-quarter finals of ongoing TCI Cements Cricket Tourney.
After winning the toss, Ajas opted to bat first. They were bundled on meager 90 runs, largely due to Shabir’ 4-0-15-3 spell. In reply, Rising Star Bandipora chased down the total in14 overs with 7 wickets in hand. Shabir was awarded as man of the match.
