Sania Blasts Pak Journo For Mocking Hubby Shoaib

After losing a virtual semifinal against Bangladesh on Wednesday, the Pakistan cricket team has become the butt of jokes on all social media platforms for their ordinary outing in the must-win encounter. The men in green failed to chase down a modest target of 240 to win against Bangla Tigers after they suffered a dramatic batting collapse.sania malik

Mushfiqur Rahim struck a valiant 99 as Bangladesh produced an all-round effort to stun Pakistan by 37 runs in the last Super Four match. Courtesy this win, Bangladesh progressed to the finals of the Asia Cup. Several jokes and memes were made on the Pakistan team after their poor performance in the continental competition.

Apart from captain Sarfraz Ahmed, Shoaib Malik was the other cricketer who faced immense criticism despite his consistent performances in the Asia Cup 2018, hosted in UAE. Shoaib was undoubtedly one of the most consistent players for Pakistan in the tournament.

When a Pakistan journalist tried poking fun at Pakistan veteran, Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza, who is also Shoaib’s wife, gave a brilliant response as a result of which the journo had to delete his tweet. The journalist posted a message in Urdu which read, “Someone should ask Shoaib Malik, if he has impressed Sania Mirza, can he play for the team in the next tournament?” After pleasing his wife, can he do what the nation expects from him? (translation of the tweet in English)

Sania, who had taken a break from social media anticipating several tweets on Indo-Pak rivalry, replied to him saying, “Arre bechaara.. clearly the poor guy has been watching a different Asia Cup!!”

The 36-year old batsman produced knocks of 9, 19, 51, 78 and 30 runs respectively. In the super four match against Bangladesh, Shoaib’s wicket was the turning point of the match as he was sent back to the pavilion after Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza took a blinder off Rubel Hossain’s bowling.
Ahead of the India-Pakistan match on September 19 in Asia Cup 2018, Sania, who is expecting her first child with Malik, took a break from social media. “Soo less than 24hrs to go for this match ,sa fe to sign out of social media for a few days since the amount of nonsense thts gonna b said here can make a ‘regular’ person sick , let alone a pregnant one Later guys !Knock yourselves out!BUT remember-ITS ONLY A CRICKET MATCH! Toodles!” she wrote on her official Twitter handle.
