District Baramulla outplayed District Anatnag by 9 wickets as they lifted the Under-19 Inter-District cricket title organised by Youth Services and Sports Department.
In the final, Baramulla beat Anantnag by 9 wickets. Batting first Anantnag scored 78 for the loss of all wickets. Sohail and Basit Tawheedi took 3 wickets each for Baramulla while as Danish and Ishfaq took 2 each.
In reply Baramulla achieved target for the loss of only 1 wicket. Danish with unbeaten 30 that included 2 sixes was highest scorer for them while as Fazil and Moharram scored 10 each.
With this win Baramulla lifted the Under-19 inter-district cricket title. The team was lead by coach Manzoor Ahmad Baba.
