While performance of J&K cricket team disappointed its fans, there was one individual performance that won the hearts.
The number 11 batsman of J&K team Mohammad Mudhasir, who otherwise spearheads the pace-bowling department of the team, smashed a 24-ball fifty for J&K.
Primarily known for his fast bowling, Mudhasir has been playing big-hitting cameos for J&K from the last couple of years.
On Thursday, despite making the J&K batting look feeble, Jharkhand bowlers were at the receiving end as Mudhasir played unbeaten knock of 53 runs from 28 balls which included 6 towering sixes and 2 boundaries. It was Mudasir’s cameo that saved some face for J&K, as the team got all- out for 148 runs against Jharkhand in the Vijay Hazare trophy.
