The late order resistance that saw Anukul Roy playing a scintillating unbeaten knock of 96 runs helped Jharkhand to set target of 221 runs on board against Jharkhand in the match of Vijay Hazare trophy at M A Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
Despite earlier being reduced to 90/6 in 30 overs, Anukul helped Jharkhand to get to the total of 221 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in allotted 50 overs. His inning helped Jharkhand to play full quota of 50 overs and set decent total on board.
For J&K , Waseem Raza took 3 wickets while as Irfan Pathan, Mohammad Mudhasir and Amir Aziz took one wicket each. Skipper Parvez Rasool in his 10 overs gave away only 26 runs.
In the match J&K went with one change, replacing Shubham Pundir with Ian Dev Singh.
