Four Kashmiri cyclists completed the Srinagar to Leh 20-hour cycling challenge by completing the 430 kilometer distance in 19 hours 27 minutes.
Cyclists Mehraj Qayoom, Amir Asad, Dr Amin and Mushtaq completed 4th stage of 96 kilometers from Khaltse to Leh in 5 hours eight minutes on September 26 to finish the challenge.
Cyclists had started their journey on September 23 from Srinagar. They ride from Srinagar to Sonamarg 2 hours 56 minutes in first stage and in 2nd stage on September 24, they covered distance of 122.9 kilometers from Sonamarg to Kargil in 4 hour 10 minutes.
In 3rd stage, they covered distance of 130 kilometers from Kargil to Khaltse in 7 hour 13 minutes.
The challenge was organised by Jammu and Kashmir Cycling Association and was sponsored by Common Cause Trust.
