For the first time in Kashmir, Bijbehara Cricket Association is going to conduct an Under 12 cricket match at Higher Secondary Ground, Bijbehara tomorrow to provide children a platform to experince the turf wicket cricket.
After laying the maiden turf wicket in South Kashmir, Bijbehara Cricket Association has come up with one more historical event of conducting cricket match amomg Under 12 cricketers. Two teams viz BCA Reds and BCA Blues will play each other in the match.
“We are happy to announce this event. We want to give budding children a platform to play turf cricket which even adult cricketers of Kashmir dream of,” an official from BCA told us.
The announcement has witnessed jubiliation among kids of the area,
“They(children) are very excited for this match , so are we,” the official added.
Bijbehara Cricket Association will continue to organise such events in future as well,
“We are working for betterment of cricket and will hopefully produce more such things in future as well,” he said.
