In the ongoing JKPL Bandipora leg, Rising Star Bandipora trounced SK Bala by 58 runs, here at Bandipora on Saturday.
Batting first, Rising Star posted an average total of 208 runs in the allotted 30 overs. Largely due to cameos from Zubair and Hilal as they scored 41 and 40 respectively. In reply, SK Bala batsmen found it hard against healthy bowling line of Rising Star as they were bundled on 150 runs. Captain Shabir Khan who scalped 3 wickets was pick of the bowlers. With this win, Rising Star Bandipora made it to the semifinals of the tournament.
