The super-over heroics of hitting two sixes by Zahid Dar sealed a tense win for Mudit-XI Wathoora as they defeated Rawanpora Royals in the match of the 15th SNW Memorial Cricket Trophy.
Wathoora elected to bat first and posted 142 Runs on board. They started their innings slowly and lost early wickets but it was Irshad in the middle who scored 41 runs while as Afnaan added 23 Runs. Irshad took 3 wickets while as Manzoor and Shabir took 2 wickets each for Rawanpora Royals.
In reply Rawanpora started their innings beautifully, Manzoor played beautiful knock off 45 Runs while as Mudasir contributed unbeaten 34 Runs for Rawanpora. In last over of the innings they were in need off 14 runs and they equalled the score on last ball and match goes to Super over.
In Super-Over Rawanpora set the target of 15 Runs for Wathoora, which Wathoora chased only in 5 balls when Zahid Dar hit back to back sixes when they were needed 11 off last 3 balls. Irshad was declared as Man of the match for his beautiful innings. Zahid Dar was awarded best moment of the match for his match winning knock.
