J&K’s lone international cricketer, Parvez Rasool was earier today named in India Red squad for the upcoming Duleep Trophy which begins from August 17th.
With this stint, Parvez is set to make domestic comeback after being out of scene for a long time.
Parvez is part of 14 men India Red squad which will be lead by southpaw Abinav Mukund.
The tournament is set to played with the pink ball on day-night basis and will feature three teams viz India Red, India Blue and India Green.
The four-dayers are scheduled to be played at NPR College Ground Dindigul and in the initial match India Red will take on India Green.
Parvez’s golden run in 2017-18 domestic season rewarded him this place. He would be aiming to make most of it to make a national comeback.
