LAHORE: Paceman Mohammad Amir was due to leave for London via Dubai in the wee hours of Wednesday to join the Pakistan squad after getting his visa on Tuesday.
A PCB spokesman said that there was no issue over issuing the visa to Amir as he got it in 14 days, a day before the specific time the British embassy takes in issuing the visas in two to three weeks after the submission of application.
The spokesman said no objection was there in issuing the visa to Amir along with other members of the Pakistan squad, which has already left for England on Sunday to play one-off Test against Ireland from May 11 and then two Tests against England before playing two T20 matches against Scotland.
