Srinagar: Vice Chancellor Islamic University of Science and Technology Awantipora Kashmir, Prof. Shakil Ahmad Romshoo inaugurated 7-A-Side Interdepartmental Football Tournament Rolling Trophy at University on Monday.
In the event 8 departmental teams are participating.
He congratulated the department for organizing such events where large participation of students is involved.
Prof. Shakil Ahmad Romshoo said that we focus on all round development of students and we are focused to develop sports infrastructure of University.
Prof. Manzoor Ahmad Malik Dean Academic Affairs who was Guest of Honour addressed the participants and congratulated them. He said winning or loosing doesn’t matter it is very important that you should take part in sports activities.
The other guests who were present during the event were Sameer Wazir, Finance Officer/ Chairman Sports Committee Prof. M. A. Khuroo. Majid Nazir Mukhdoomi Sports Assistant was the match referee.
