Representatives from esteemed institutions such as Shah-i-Hamdaan, Linton Hall, Delhi Public School (DPS), Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), JK Public School, and JK Police Public School competed across diverse age categories, including Cadet (below 10), Sub-Juniors (10+ to 14), Juniors (14+ to 18), and Seniors (18+ to 28). The athletes showcased their exceptional talents in five key Yogasana events: Traditional Event, Artistic Single, Artistic Pair, Artistic Group, and Rhythmic Pair.

A special highlight of the championship was the recognition of outstanding athletes from the Regional Coaching Centre. Bilal Ahmad Dar, Rehaab Zargar, and Mufallah Fateh were honored as the Best Athletes of the Championship, a testament to their dedication and superior performance.

The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Nuzhat Gazala, who served as the Chief Guest. Gazala delivered an inspiring address, encouraging the young athletes with her impactful words and underscoring the significance of discipline and perseverance in sports.
Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar, National Weightlifting Coach and Manager of Bakhshi Stadium, Adil Khan, Vice President of the J&K Yogasana Sports Association, and Maqsood Khan, Manager of SKISC, were honored as Guests of Honor. The event was also attended by Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, President of the District Yogasana Sports Association.

The championship’s success is attributed to the unwavering efforts of Shabir Ahmad Dar, Technical Chairman of the J&K Yogasana Sports Association, and Ms. Zubida Lateef, the Organizing Secretary and the first female NIS-qualified Yogasana National Coach in Srinagar. Their meticulous planning and dedication ensured a seamlessly organized and impactful event that resonated with all participants and attendees.
