38th National Games: More medals for J&K in Fencing, Gymnastics; Tally jump to 20 Medals

Srinagar: Fencers and Gymnasts once again brought laurels for J&K in the ongoing 38th National Games -2025 Uttarakhandh as J&K players bagged more medals on Tuesday.

With the help of medals from Fencing, Gymnastics the overall medal tally of J&K has jumped to 20 and they now occupy 20th place.

In Fencing J&K has now bagged four medals which include two silver and two bronze medals. J&K women Sabre team outclassed their opponents by winning bronze medal. The winning team comprised of Shreya Gupta, Kritarthi Kotwal, Rishika Khajuria and Chhavi Sharma. J&K Mens Epee Team bagged silver medalas they lost final against Haryana.

Meanwhile in Gymnastics, J&K has bagged one gold, 2 silver and one bronze. J&K also bagged two bronze medals in Judo and one bronze netball.

Overall J&K have got four gold, ( 2 in wushu, 1 Taekwondo, 1 Gymnastics), 6 Silver ( 1Wushu, 2 gymnastics, 2 Fencing, and 1 Archery) and 10 bronze ( 4 wushu, 1 gymnastics, 2 fencing, 2 judo and 1 netball).
