Srinagar, March 10: The second edition of Inter College Kabaddi Rolling Trophy Men (2021) kickstarted today in the indoor stadium at GDC Pulwama.
The chief guest of the occasion Prof. Farooq Ahmad Andrabi, who is the Principal of the college while inaugurating the event stressed for the need to keep alive the spirit of the game. Senior faculty members in Prof G. M. Nengroo, Prof Gulzar Ahmad, Prof Mushtaq Ahmad Malik, Prof A. M. Shah, Dr Shahid E Murtaza, Dr Mohammad Amin Mir, Dr Jahangir Ahmad Rather, Prof Imran Ahmed, Prof Jon Mohammad, Dr Nisar Ahmed, international cyclist Akbar khan were present on the ocassion. The proceeding of the inaugural ceremony were conducted by Dr Tanveer Ahmad, Convenor Sports Board of the college and Dr Faisal S Hayat, PTI of the college and his cohorts. The inaugural match was played between GDC Tangmarg and GDC Pulwama. 32 teams are participating in the tournament. Prof. Mushtaq Ahmad Malik is observer for the whole event.
