14th J&K State Wushu championship concludes in Jammu

The 14th J&K State Wushu championship concluded in Jammu on Saturday with District Jammu emerging out as overall champions. District Jammu lifted the overall trophy while as district Samba remained runner up and district Srinagar and Budgam shared 3rd place.1100 participants from 20 Districts participated in the 4 days j&k state wushu championship  organised by wushu association of j&k.wushu state concludes

Dr. Ashok bhan , Retd.DGP J&K was the chief Guest occasion. He lauded the Wushu association of J&K for reaching in all districts and taking the Wushu to new heights.

He congratulated Rajinder Singh and Bhanu partap Singh for securing the medals in the world and Asian championship. He also congratulated Kuldeep handoo National Chief Coach of India for leading the Indian team and making the coy try and state proud.

Ranjeet Kalra Member BCCI AND sports council presented welcome address. Vijay Saraf presented the vote of thanks.

Wahid ur Rahman Para,Secretary j&k state sports council  presided the function and congratulated the Wushu association of j&k and all the wushists from 20 districts. He assured that sports council  will open state academy soon for the better resuilt in the.near future.

Sunil Sharma. Vice president, Satish Gupta  manager indoor, Balkar Singh, Ajay Paul, Arun Singh, Chetan Kumar, Kamal Kishore, Abhishek Jamwal, Ruchi Arshi Jamwal, Maqsood Rather, Nissar and Atul Sharma.
